About

The North East Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club was founded by a group of local enthusiasts to educate the public about this often misunderstood AKC registered breed. Our Mission is to support, promote, encourage, foster and advance the breeding, well-being and all interests of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Members of this club are encouraged to breed their Staffords with sound temperaments, good health and correct breed type through education, community events and always display good sportsmen like conduct. The club is dedicated to observing a strict code of ethics and adhering to the Breed Standard as adopted by the American Kennel Club as well as supporting the National Club on a regional scale. We are committed to investing our time and efforts in public education as well as regional dog shows in order to promote a better understanding of our dogs, and to cultivate goodwill among people interested in Staffords. The NESBTC is based in the New York Metropolitan area, and represents the entire North East but encourages worldwide participation.
